Практический характер выступления.Friedrich Boeckh gives an overview on Clojure, a new – and by now matured and adopted – member of the Lisp language family. It is a dynamic funtional programming language, that was designed to be hosted on virtual machines (either Java or .NET). Clojure developed into an enterprise level general purpose language on the JVM and is also growing strong as ClojureScript in the JavaScript environment in that it leverages the Google Closure tools for its implementation.Friedrich introduces the Lisp-like syntax and basic concepts of Clojure. He refers to the Lisp heritage that this new language brings in for free and provides current examples of business usage beyond “just trying the new thing”. He will also provide some coding examples in the interactive programming environment REPL in order to let the audience get a sense for the programming experience in Clojure. The slides refer to the resources used in this presentation in order to aid the first steps into an own Clojure programming adventure.
